2.4. Prohibited Business Models and Content Types:
- Hosts adult content, gambling operations, mass email marketing services, cryptocurrency mining, or any other category of content we specify as prohibited.
- Stores large files or media (e.g., video files) that are not directly related to the normal operation of your hosted website, unless you have obtained prior written approval from us.
3. Resource Usage and Fair Use
3.1. Excessive Resource Consumption:
You must not use our Services in a way that disproportionately consumes server resources (e.g., CPU, memory, bandwidth) or adversely affects the performance, security, or reliability of our infrastructure.
3.2. Reasonable Use:
We may monitor resource usage and notify you if your consumption exceeds what we consider fair and normal usage levels. If you fail to remedy the issue after such a notice, we reserve the right to suspend, limit, or terminate your access to the Services.
4. Third-Party Access (Excalibur Press)
By using our Services, you acknowledge that Excalibur Press Limited, an affiliated service provider, may have administrative access to your hosting environment. Any use they make of our systems on your behalf is subject to this AUP, as well as our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
5. Enforcement Measures
5.1. Investigation and Action:
We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violations of this AUP. If we determine that a violation has occurred, we may, at our sole discretion, take any action we deem appropriate, including but not limited to:
- Issuing a warning and requesting corrective action.
- Temporarily suspending or permanently terminating your access to the Services.
- Removing or disabling access to prohibited content.
- Reporting illegal activities to relevant authorities and cooperating with law enforcement.
5.2. Immediate Termination for Illegal Activity:
Any activity deemed illegal or involving severely prohibited content will result in immediate termination without prior notice.
6. No Liability for User Actions
You are solely responsible for any content you host, publish, or transmit using our Services, as well as any resulting consequences. We assume no liability for user-generated content or user actions that violate this AUP or applicable law.
7. Changes to This AUP
We may update this AUP from time to time. The latest version will be posted on our website, and significant changes may be communicated via email. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective indicates acceptance of the updated AUP.
