- Eligibility and Agreement
2.1. You must be legally capable under UK law to enter into a binding contract. If you cannot legally consent to these Terms, you may not use our Services.
2.2. By purchasing or using our Services, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to bind any business on whose behalf you use the Services. - Services Offered
3.1. We offer managed WordPress hosting services, domain resale, and associated website-related solutions. We may also provide custom hosting configurations and integrate new providers or features at our discretion.
3.2. Our primary hosting setup, suppliers and infrastructure may change over time. Such changes will generally aim to improve performance, security, or reliability. We reserve the right to make these changes without specific customer approval. - Pricing and Payment
4.1. Payments are primarily processed via Chargebee and Stripe. Monthly or annual subscriptions are available. Some clients may pay through Excalibur Press, who then pass on the payment to us.
4.2. All fees are due as set out in your agreed billing cycle. If no specific agreement exists, monthly terms will apply.
4.3. We may introduce or adjust pricing, providing at least a few months’ notice by email. Continued use of the Services after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing. - Cancellations and Refunds
5.1. You can cancel your subscription using the self-service Chargebee dashboard. This ensures prompt processing. While you may also request cancellation via email, we cannot guarantee a timely manual response.
5.2. Upon cancellation, your Services remain active until the end of the current paid billing cycle. No refunds are provided for already processed renewal payments, except at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances.
5.3. If you no longer wish to host with us due to a material change in these Terms or a pricing revision, you must cancel before the next billing cycle to avoid further charges. - Service Availability and Liability
6.1. We provide Services “as is,” with no guarantees beyond what is legally required. We endeavour to maintain high levels of uptime, security, and performance.
6.2. In the event of substantial downtime caused by our systems, we may, at our discretion, apply a discount to your next billing cycle. This is a goodwill gesture and not a formal credit programme.
6.3. You are responsible for your own website’s content, maintenance, and compliance with applicable laws. If outdated software or illegal content on your website leads to issues, you bear full responsibility. - Use of Third Parties and Affiliates
7.1. We may engage third-party vendors for hosting infrastructure, domain management, analytics, and more. By using our Services, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by these third parties (see our Privacy Policy for details).
7.2. Excalibur Press Limited, an affiliated service provider, may have full access to your account data to offer development and support services. Your continued use of our Services indicates consent to share information as necessary with Excalibur Press to facilitate these activities. - Acceptable Use
8.1. You agree to use our Services in compliance with our Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits illegal content, hate speech, spam, malware, adult content, gambling, mass email campaigns, cryptocurrency mining, and excessive resource usage without prior arrangement.
8.2. We reserve the right to take immediate action, including suspension or termination, against accounts found in violation of these standards. Illegal activities or serious breaches of policy will result in immediate termination without warning.
8.3. Any penetration testing or security checks on our systems must be pre-approved in writing. Unauthorised testing is strictly prohibited. - Legal Compliance and International Restrictions
9.1. We comply with UK GDPR and all relevant UK laws.
9.2. We will not knowingly provide Services to customers in jurisdictions where doing so is illegal or subject to sanctions (e.g., sanctioned states).
9.3. You are responsible for ensuring your compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. - Updates to These Terms
10.1. We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on our website, and material changes may be communicated via email. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
